Where is my soulmate god

Your soulmate is a completion of yourself, the other piece to your puzzle. They fill a part in your heart that no other human being on this earth could fill, and maybe I am a hopeless romantic okay, obviously I am but THIS is the only kind of love I believe is worth settling for.

THIS is the kind of love worth waiting for. THIS is the kind of life I truly believe God has in store for those who will choose to set aside their hearts for the one that is meant to love them. But there are those romantic relationships detailed for us that are foundationally instructive. God could have created Adam completely self-sufficient.

Instead, He created Adam, even before he sinned, with a built-in need for a companion. Moreover, God wanted Adam to be aware of his inherent need by revealing the pattern of companionship in the animal kingdom around him.

Adam was put to rest, and while he ceased from his own efforts, God created exactly what Adam needed and brought her to him. A powerful precedent is seen in this foundational relationship: man rests as God works to meet his relational need. This pattern is echoed in the relationships of Isaac and Rebekah, as well as Ruth and Boaz.

Yet, the long winter has reminded me of my desolation. I often desire for someone to spend my life with, but as of yet, this has not transpired. I ask that You would bring someone into my life to be my soul-mate. I ask that You end this long winter of love in my life, and flourish with a new relationship. In this same love, send someone into my life willing to become my soulmate. Send someone to me that can make me a better person, challenging me to become the best version of myself.

I ask this according to Your boundless love for all people. Like a thief in the night, You bless us and redeem the world. Because Your ways are not our ways, help me to always be aware of Your work in the world. I ask that I be ready for the soulmate I have so often longed for. Help me to realize their presence when they are near, that I might recognize Your work before my eyes.

Prayer for Faith Father, my Miracle-Worker, time and time again I have asked, but it seems You do not hear my prayers for a soulmate. Why are You so far from me? Yet, I know You love Your children and want what is best for us. Lord, help restore my faith in You and Your word. Condition my heart to accept my current situation, so that when I do meet someone, my heart is ready to receive them completely and fully. Lord, in Your gracious mercy.
