Does anyone know how to delete abandoned Words with Friends games accessed thru Facebook Messenger? Zynga has even quit responding. I want out of this game. Please help me! Not happy!
I have many people that want to play Word with me. I would like a good reason as to WHY you limit the games to 20?? Just want to know WHY you have such a low limit? When friends AND family are sending requests it looks to them that they are being ignored!! I was able to resign from a game, but am not able to delete the game. It just shows up on my turn board. No option to delete or move it. I just deleted a game and it did not count against me. Open the game board of the person you want to delete.
Now open the chat box and tap the settings wheel in the upper right corner. Choose block user and confirm. And they are gone. I have four games that are days old. I have tried everything to delete them that i have read about. Yes, i meant days. How can you block someone who is playing on fast play? How go I stop someone that keeps adding many new games so I am always playing with the same person? How to decline? I have a rematch request from someone I have never played. They are not listed anywhere else other than a rematch request.
How do I get rid of the request please. I enjoy scrabble but am beginning not to like it because people on the game play more than one time per game the same name on the same game 2 to 3 times and that is not the scrabble I know. Someone please make a game like this that after 2 or 3 days we can force the other person out for not playing. How do you delete finished solo games. Only way is to uninstall words then reinstall which is ridiculous, there must be an easier way?
I have a game open with a player who has not played in over two weeks. My screen if frozen and I cannot get any response!! I have sent him several messages to no avail. I really would like to be able to play on my phone. Why is there no option for simply ending this game? I accidently opened games with 3 people that i do not have anything to do with and do not want any contact with them.

You can click on the completed game to see what word was played. The value you your remaining tiles becomes a negative when your opponent plays all of their letters. So irritating I have had this happen to randomly also. Just a weird glitch in the game I guess, because it has happened when we were nowhere near the end of the game.
I gave up and hit " okay" to " you resigned" and the game came back. Very weird but good to know. Rose,, I play on my iPad, but works on smart phones, etc. Oh, And i took another look and do not even see a resign button. Very weird. I sometimes hit the resign button by accident but it always asks me if I actually want to resign. This had never happened to me before.
I have never resigned a game and pretty sure I didn't this time. The annoying thing is it's just sitting out there with my other active games. Can I get it to go away? It's a pain waiting days. Fix this feature. Let us resign whenever we want. I hate that I'm forced to sit and wait weeks. I want to get rid of the stalled out games and play someone that is actually interested in playing. It's wrong not being able to lose the dead wood. Totally agree! It is so frustrating when people agree to play and they don't. WWF says they will auto resign after 5 days but that is an outright misnomer.
I've had games up to 3 weeks without play. The remind feature is ok, but doesn't get rid of those people tying up your game board. Such a simple fix WWF One of my "friends" reminds me as soon as she makes a play then she doesn't play for days. Can't wait to be done with her!
